Typhoon Elite Field Hockey Club will host tryouts for 2012-2013 Season
including Indoor & Outdoor Field Hockey
players ages 8 - 19, in brackets: U12, U14, U16 and U19
to include the following USA Field Hockey elite tournament opportunities:
USA FH National Field Hockey Festival (U16 and U19)
Disney Field Hockey Showcase (U16 and U19)
USA FH Regional and National Club Championships (U14, U16, and U19)
Disney Junior Field Hockey Showcase (U14)
Tryout date:

Sept. 9, 1-4 pm
There is no cost to tryout.

Purpose: The Typhoon Elite Field Hockey Club shall provide the serious field hockey player with opportunities to compete against elite competition through tournaments, leagues, and developmental training. Players are affiliated with the club through membership and will experience national competitions, clinics with top college coaches, and improved recruitment opportunities.
Mission: Typhoon Elite is a club for Virginia field hockey players that shall pursue excellence through top competition and sportsmanship.
Value Statement: Players are treated and trained as elite players with college field hockey ambition. They are expected to grasp tactics and techniques quickly, as well as demonstrate aggressiveness and creativity on the field. Player development includes emphasis on Leadership skills. Older players are expected to have a leadership role on their high school team and demonstrate the ability to mentor younger players.
Vision:
To assist and promote performance-based field hockey and direct players toward collegiate opportunities.
