Announcments Friday, September 23rd

1. Practice Today: We are going to practice today till 5. I offered a silent study hall in room 504 till practice begins. Since it's suppose to pour today we will most likely be inside. We will spend the majority of the time reviewing game footage, other hockey videos, and then some conditioning based on space.

2. Saturday practice: we will practice this Saturday from 7 to 9 rain or shine and I am hoping by 7 AM the rain stops.

3. Chancellor Make-up Game: I have not shared this information with the ladies because it's going to be rather stressful to most but we are playing Chancellor home next Friday. The varsity will at 4:30 and JV will play 5:30 or soon after. We unfortunately then turn around and play them again on Monday away. These two games will be the toughest two games we play all season. A large portion of the Chancellor girls on both teams play year round on a travel team with their coaches.

4. I still have don't know when we will be making up the Louisa game, but I will let you know when I know.

5. Fundraiser: The fundraiser is due today if your daughter does not have her packet, she can bring it in to practice on Saturday. A reminder that we asked each girl to try to sell 3, as we get $5.75 profit off of the pizza kits and $5 off of the cookie profit. We hope to raise enough money off of what we are doing to buy both teams bags that will fit all their stuff and their sticks. The cost of bags for both teams will be around $2000.

6. 50/50 raffle: If there is a football game tonight we will be doing a 50/50 raffle to help raise more money for our bags. However, if its canceled we will plan on doing the raffle on the make-up date if it's possible. We will need as many girls that can go to the game as possible to sell tickets; please note that it's not mandatory.

Thanks so much for all your support this season!
